Although technically not the actual feast day of Saint Patrick (which is on the 17th, of course), Friday March 13th turned out to be anything BUT unlucky for Knox Machinery and a fine cast of customers!
The day began with about 50 customers taking in a very informative session with Knox’s senior application’s engineer, Doug McPhillips, who gave a hands on demonstration of proper machine tool maintenance and the essentials of a good preventive maintenance routine. Customer feedback was extremely favorable, as it always is when Doug gives a training class.
Immediately following the class, Knox Machinery had catered in some of the very best authentic Irish cuisine on this side of “the old Sod” – The fish was gourmet and the bread pudding with Jamisons cream topping was, as always, out of this world!!
Greg Knox and Michael Kalter regaled the crowds at lunchtime with authentic Irish ballads and some of Michael’s famous original fingerpicking, as customers enjoyed lively networking and and live machining demos, (as more than a few jars of homemade beverages were passed around).
ThanksĀ to all who attended and made it such a fun and successful day – keep your eyes peeled for the next Knoxapalooza – a 3 day open house this summer, focused around the latest cutting edge EDM technologies from our newest partner GF, Agie and Charmilles.
Slainte!
